We argued over whether to geek out on this version, or the acoustic version. It was a thorough lesson in diplomacy (which almost became the name of the record). We geeked the acoustic version. And, with about a half hour left in the studio, I caved, and we recorded this version of the song in one take, all live. Then it started to grow on me. Then i dropped two other tracks from the playlist in order to put this one on the playlist. So now here it sits. Yes it is the same song as the earlier 'Games'. But there are some subtle differences in the arrangement. Really super subtle.
